Survivorship Center |
The "Now What!?" Survivorship Center at Northland Cancer Center helps cancer survivors make the transition back to work and their daily activities. The Center is the first of its kind in the Kansas City area and is located in the Medical Plaza North building on the Hospital's campus. Whether you are newly diagnosed or a long-time survivor, the Survivorship Center has the resources to help you get your life back. Some of the available services include fatigue management, nutrition counseling, genetic counseling, lymphedema prevention and treatment, medication education, and more. A team of cancer care nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, physical therapists, social workers and pastoral caregivers work together to help patients.
The survivorship assessment is a helpful tool for the staff to evaluate your individualized needs to build a program that's right for you.
